Asset Management Prioritisation Tool (AMPT)
Asset Management Prioritisation Tool (AMPT)
The Asset Management Prioritisation Tool (AMPT) is a secure, field-ready digital platform designed to bring clarity and structure to bridge examination and asset management decision-making. AMPT provides a single, trusted location for all asset data, logging every identified defect against each structure, complete with photographic evidence, geo-location, and condition information. Examiners and engineers can quickly locate assets on site, review the latest inspection reports directly in the field, and ensure decisions are always based on the most up-to-date information. The platform automatically analyses condition data to identify and rank the top five priority defects across their network, supporting risk-based maintenance planning and helping clients focus resources where they are most needed. This prioritisation can be viewed spatially, allowing users to understand risk and condition across a network at a glance. AMPT is designed to support continuous improvement. Data captured during inspections feeds directly into the system, forming the basis for future reports without duplication of effort. Asset and defect data can be exported for further analysis in Excel, ensuring transparency and flexibility for reporting, auditing, and investment planning. With client asset data securely stored in one central location, AMPT improves consistency, reduces information loss between inspection cycles, and enables confident, evidence-based decisions — whether in the office or on site.
