Jason Nauman

Jason Nauman is a Senior Design Principal and Senior Professional Associate for HDR located in their Phoenix, AZ office. He has 26 years of experience designing, inspecting and load rating highway and railroad bridges, including managing bridge preservation type projects in AZ and CA.

Jason earned a BS and MS degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University and is a registered professional engineer in AZ and CA. He is also a SPRAT-certified rope access inspector who has inspected all types of bridges, big and small, throughout the western half of the US.

Jason is currently serving as the Contract Manager for the Golden Gate Bridge Inspection and Seismic Retrofit contracts, and has been the Bridge Inspection Team Leader since 2015.  He also led the first load rating of the Golden Gate Bridge in 2014.
